THE COLOR DISRUPTORS
Lived in Color, Balayage, Ombre are hair trends that have continually evolved over the last decade and will continue to do so.

Join us in this one day workshop, as we bring together 4 talented colorists, stylists and salon owners from around Australia as they share how they continuously disrupt and evolve their color services in salon. Kirby, Jami, Sarah and Joseph demonstrate their authentic approach to hair color and styling on live models and how they use their social media platforms to create a loyal clientele, new and existing, through capturing that perfect shot.

KEEPING OUR COMMUNITY SAFE

As we prepare and navigate through 2021, we are thrilled to welcome you to the Kao Salon Sydney Flagship Academy and back into our Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Off-Location Learning Centers. We continue to uphold our already high standards of cleanliness, and are adding several new measures to ensure the health and safety of our guests and Kao Employees. Ensure you are following and maintaining your state Government guidelines at all times. Subject to change, we recommend visiting your local Government website/s for the most updated regulations:

  • Masks are always highly recommended. However, please follow the current state guidelines and adhere. Masks are available at all locations.
  • Hand sanitizer available throughout Kao locations and encouraged for regular use.
  • Kao employees are dedicated to sanitizing our stations, flat surfaces, restrooms and community areas regularly throughout the day. In addition, we will continue with our routine weekly and daily cleaning/laundry services.
  • Kao will be following local government guidelines and changes, when and where specified.
  • We promote social distancing and elbow welcoming’s.
  • We encourage our guests to only bring essential items into the Academy, phone, keys, styling kit, and essential personal items as well as salon tools. Please ensure you disinfect and wipe these prior to your visit. We do provide and encourage the use of disinfectant wipes of those personal items where possible during your time with us.
  • We require anyone displaying symptoms of COVID or sickess to stay home following local government guidelines. We are dedicated to not only the well-being of our guests, but also the safety and protection of our team members
  • We will continue to identify additional solutions toward creating a safe and comfortable environment within all of our locations in accordance with any government mandates. Please feel free to let us know what we can do to make your visit comfortable.
Pre-Academy Attendance Checklist

In light of COVID-19, Kao Salon Australia have implemented the below adjustments. Please know, that these changes have been made with the upmost interest of maintaining the Health & Safety of all Academies, Participants, Visitors and Educators. We will continue to monitor all government, state and local restrictions. We thank you for your co-operation and apologize for any inconveniences. We look forward to seeing you at the next Goldwell/KMS event or education seminar.

  • All participants/educators and visitors of the Kao Salon Academies MUST sign in using QR code or Sign in/out procedure.
  • Theory and creative mood boarding sessions are now via digital/electronic devices – please bring an electronic device.
  • Only bring your essential items into the academy space – phone, keys, personal items, equipment.
  • All participants MUST ensure sterilization and cleaning of equipment prior entering the academy. Sterilize and clean any other resources/belongings too.
  • Kao Salon Australia will no longer provide catering during lunch break. Participants will be given a 1 hour lunch break. Feel free to self-cater or support the local cafés and restaurants. We also advise for all participants bring/purchase hot/cold drinks as can no longer provide self service stations for drinks or food.

Please ensure you read and check off ALL of the above before visiting the Academy. Our main priority, is to ensure the health & safety of all participants, salons, stylists, Kao employees and visitors.

Registration Policy

All cancellations must be received 30 days prior to the date of the scheduled program to be eligible for a full refund.

Any cancellations within 30 days will receive a credit toward a future program in the current calendar year.

Non attendance without notice is subject to a 100% charge.

Kao Australia Ltd. reserves the right to postpone or change any program due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case participants will be notified.

Information provided on this registration site is deemed to be correct.
