2013 Redken Haircolor Certification

Color Certification Fees (fee includes Study Kit, Prep Night and Exam)

Registration Fees

Full first time test:                                $495
Club 5th Avenue Points:                     15,000

When using your Club 5th Avenue Points, please do not complete your registration, you must call the Redken Hair Color Certification Registration office at 1.888.733.5364 to apply your points and complete your registration.

Retakes Fees
Hair Color Challenge (Multiple):    $125
Hair Color Scenario/Solution (Essay Portion): $125
Technical Assessment:  $150

You may pay for retakes using your Club 5th Avenue Points. For every dollar, please calculate 30 points, e.g. $125 is equal to 3,750 points. 
 
Our Recommendations to Passing the Test!
1. Recommend following everything in the Redken Certified Hair Colorist Study Guide and using the conents in the study kit
2. Allow at least 6 weeks to study
3. Pre Night – is not mandatory but is highly recommended!!!

The exam consist of 3 portion:
1. Hair Color Challenge – multiple choice
2. Hair Color Scenario/Solution – essay/written
3. Technical Assessment – hands-on
 
Once you become certified, you’ll receive the following:
1. A personal profile on Redken.com’s salon finder.
2. Press Kit to help you promote yourself being Redken Certified Colorist
3. Logo rights to utilize in creating documents to support and acknowledge your status
4. Redken Certificate to display in your salon
5. Redken Certified pin to identify you as a member of this elite group
