EE103. Hess Exploration and Production Tour for High School Teachers, Friday 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Come and learn more about oil and gas exploration at Hess Corporation, a global company devoted to energy solutions. Participants will be led on a walking tour from the convention center to the Hess Corporation building in downtown Houston. There they will get a guided tour of the company's Real Time Operations Center, the augmented reality "sandbox" (mixed digital and analog modeling of surface models), and the Hess core facility, as well as a data visualization demonstration. All participants should wear their CAST 2017 badge, as well as appropriate clothing and footwear to walk approximately 2 blocks from the convention center to the Hess building. Participants are also encouraged to bring umbrellas and/or raincoats in case of rain. Please note that videography or photography are not allowed without express permission from Hess Corporation.
