SC107. A NASA STEM Adventure: GLOBE Water and Soil Studies Explore the NASA GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment) Program that investigates the Importance of Soil and Water. Collect data on soil permeability to find evidence to answer important climate questions.   In these introductory classroom activities, students will exercise their scientific skills of observation and inference to make deductions to identify the cause of weathering and erosion.  The NASA GLOBE activities promote problem solving, communication skills and teamwork while engaging the students in problem-based learning that is both fun and relevant to their everyday lives. Teacher implementation guides, storybooks, activities and resources are integrated in this program.
