SC216. Vertically WILD Challenge: Pre-K-12 Do you want to see more authentic outdoor investigations? Have you heard of Project WILD? How about Oh Deer? What is the big deal? Why do people guard their books like a national treasure? Project WILD is way more than Oh Deer (a population modeling activity); it is a curriculum and activity guide that helps you teach about the outdoors, using the outdoors. Project WILD provides a wide array of TEKS-aligned activities that can be used with all grade levels. From Pre K-12, we have something for you to add to your bag of tricks and engage your students. Take advantage of this opportunity to sample several activities from the different WILD books. Compare how concepts can be delivered at different grade levels. Discuss the application of the activities in different settings with different audiences.
