SC210. TESTA Presents: Topography Is Back--Lets Look at the Maps This short course explores the ups and downs of teaching topography in the classroom. Try the many hands-on activities to help reinforce the map skills. Presenters will use satellite images to help students connect the mapping of 2D and 3D images. Several Texas sites will be used in a gallery walk. Erosion and deposition will be discussed with the different maps. Design and create a variety of your own landforms of geologic features. Participants will leave with samples, activities, and PowerPoints to help you handle this unit.
