SC111. PBL: Dinner and a Homicide
This interactive session with TEKS-aligned, student-driven, hands-on, cross-curricular activities included by content strand, will propel educators to embrace Project-based learning (PBL) into their classroom instructional practices. Students will be captivated with real-world forensics experiences to solve a "crime." A basic PBL overview will be provided at the beginning of the session so that all attendees will understand the PBL process and experience it from both the lenses of the teacher and the student. Teachers will leave with digital and physical resources to implement this PBL in their own classrooms.
