IAM is expanding from the United States with the 51st Annual Meeting.  This year's Annual Meeting will be held from October 7-10, 2013 in the beautiful city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, BC.

As this is the first time IAM has held an Annual Meeting outside of the United States in over 20 years, we have done our best to provide you with all the information you need to travel, exhibit and tour Canada right here on our meeting website.  If you are concerned about passports or visas, we suggest checking out the TRAVEL INFORMATION page.  This section contains all the information you need to know.  If you need to have a VISA invitation letter provided for you, you can download a signed VISA invitation letter on the TRAVEL INFORMATION page.   Please note, that you will be able to enter your name on the letter.

Vancouver Convention Centre

This year's theme "IAM- A Network Expanding" underscores the Association’s efforts to expand its offerings to members, and its outreach to - and inclusion of - other organizations and associations in the global moving and relocation arena. The chosen theme also recognizes those member companies who continually meet the changes and challenges in our industry by expanding their businesses both geographically and in the services lines they offer, and through the reciprocal relationships they initiate with IAM colleagues at the Annual Meeting.  As the organization continues to aim to be in the forefront of the moving industry, we have added some new items to encourage members to expand their professional networks.

Before the hall opens we will have our first IAM Networking Event, a chance for you to meet new members, greet old friends, and schedule meetings before the start of the conference.  In addition, we have partnered with the Ladies in Moving Association (LIMA) for whom IAM is hosting a reception this year, prior to our grand opening reception.  Make sure to check out the SCHEDULE page to see a full list of meetings and events.

We have five host hotels this year to house all attendees and staff for the Annual Meeting.  Please check out the HOTELS page on this site to find a hotel and reserve your room.  All hotels are within walking distance from the Vancouver Convention Centre which is the prime location for all meetings and evening events.
