IAM 49th Annual Meeting in San Diego - Sept 12 - Sept 15, 2011

Enhancing Value, Advancing Opportunity

San Diego Attractions

Welcome to San Diego, California - one of the most beautiful and diverse destinations in the world!

While you are with us during IAM's 48th Annual Meeting, we hope that you will take the time to visit and explore our wonderful host city.

Not sure what to do while you are here? Check out some of our recommendations below:

The San Diego Zoo and San Diego Wild Life Animal Park: San Diego hosts two of the most spectacular zoos in the nation. The San Diego Zoo is located 3.5 miles from the hotel and is home to the elusive Komodo dragon and the nations youngest panda. While at the zoo you can visit the newly remodeled Polar Bear Plunge or stop by the Giant Panda Research Station.  For a little more adventure, make the journey to the Wild Life Animal Park and take the tram tour where you see wild life in its natural environment. Please note that you must rent a car to visit the Wild Life Park and Zoo. For tickets and more information, click here

Sea World:
Come and visit the home of Shamu, the worlds most famous killer whale. Or catch Cirque de la Mar, an intriguing blend of sea life, acrobats, and mystery. If you want to take it one step (or shall we say fin) further, try one of the animal interaction experiences. Swim with dolphins or interact with a Beluga whale! These experiences are limited so if you are interested, make sure you book early. For more information on the animal interactions or to book your tickets, visit the Sea World website

Seaport Village:
Located just steps from the hotel is Seaport Village. Here you will find a diverse range of dining and shopping options. To download the village map, click here or visit the Seaport Village website.

Restaurant Reservations: Whether you want authentic Mexican cuisine or the freshest seafood around, San Diego has it all. To get restaurant recommendations and to make your reservations, contact the hotel concierge at +1.619.232.1234
