Program

The virtual meeting’s main themes are: 1) Human milk composition; 2) Human milk bioactives; 3) Tools for human milk analysis.

Conference sessions will present the latest research and foster discussion on:
  • What is unique in human milk and what are the drivers of human milk composition?
  • What are the in vitro and in vivo models to be used in human milk research?
  • Human milk composition in relation to microbes and microbial metabolites and toxins
  • Hot topics and controversies about infant nutrition

The conference covers eight sessions with two abstract presentations, two “Meet the Expert” sessions, and career development workshops. We are delighted to have the opening keynote lecture "Milk, the Mother of Infant Health" by Grace Aldrovandi, MD (University of California, Los Angeles, USA) and the closing keynote lecture "Future of Human Milk Research and Partnership with the Public and Private Sector" by Berthold Koletzko, MD, PhD (LMU Munich, Germany).
