Launched in the mid-1980's, this FASEB Science Research Conference (SRC) is the longest-running scientific meeting in the U.S. devoted to exploring the molecular mechanisms and biological consequences of recombination.

This conference aims to unite investigators studying diverse aspects of genetic recombination using a range of biological systems and experimental approaches.
