Program
The main themes of this conference are: 1) The 25th anniversary of the Sleeping Beauty transposon resurrection and its use for advancing basic science and clinical research; 2) Advances in the development of wet bench and bioinformatics tools for transposon discovery and annotation across a broad spectrum of organisms; 3) Molecular mechanisms of transposon mobilization and the impact on the host, with a specific emphasis on aging and age-associated diseases such as cancer and neurodegeneration.Conference sessions will explore the latest findings and promote discussions on:

In addition to a keynote lecture from Zsuzsanna Izsvak, PhD (Max Delbruck Center for Molecular Medicine) entitled "A Junk to Treasure?", the conference will feature live and pre-recorded sessions, two poster sessions, and career development workshops. As part of a series of events for trainees, a “Meet the Expert” session is included to foster informal interaction between participants and selected experts representing the conference’s research themes.
