Program

The goals of the meeting are twofold: To reveal new microbial science that will broaden and deepen our understanding of the fundamental aspects of diverse infections and host responses; and to welcome, support, and mentor the next generation of colleagues in the field of microbial pathogenesis and infectious disease by fostering a highly interactive community within an intimate meeting forum.

Conference sessions will present the latest research and foster discussion on:
  • Pathogens and Disease
  • Health of a Pathogen
  • Mechanisms of Virulence
  • Drugs and Resistance
  • Structural Biology and Pathogens
  • Metabolism
  • Anti-Microbial Drug Discovery
  • Host-Pathogen Interactions

The conference covers nine sessions, 100 abstract presentations, daily “Meet the Expert” opportunities following each session, and career development workshops. We are delighted to have Andrew Camilli, PhD (Tufts University) present the keynote lecture.
