Program

The meeting’s main themes are: 1) Structural biology of protein lipidation; 2) Biochemistry and enzymology of protein lipidation; 3) Impact of lipidation on protein function and trafficking; 4) Protein lipidation in disease; 5) Drug discovery in targeting protein lipidation.

Conference sessions will present the latest research and foster discussion on:
  • Structural biology of protein lipidation
  • Protein lipidation in immunology
  • Enzymology of lipidation
  • Chemical tools for studying protein lipidation
  • Drug discovery in protein lipid modifications
  • Membrane structure and biophysics
  • Lipid modification in physiology, signaling, and disease

The conference covers eight sessions, including 12 trainee short talks selected from the posters, and a “Meet the Expert” session developed for trainees and junior faculty to meet experts in the field and receive career and scientific advice. We are delighted to have Martin Bergö, PhD (Karolinska Institute) and Gisou van der Goot, PhD (EPFL) titled "Palmitoylation of SARS-CoV2"present the keynote lectures.
