Conference Summary

This FASEB Science Research Conference (SRC) is focused on the critical roles lipidated proteins play in numerous human diseases including cancer, infectious disease, and age-related disorders. The conference covers the biochemistry, structure, enzymology, and cellular functions of the lipidation of a wide variety of proteins and the impact of protein lipidation on normal physiology and pathophysiology.

The conference will bring together principle investigators, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students who are in the field of protein lipidation and related research, as well as those who are exploring future careers in the field, and clinical investigators who are interested in the diseases affected by lipidated proteins.
