Program

The conference's main themes are: 1) structure-function relationship of ion channels based on direct 3D structure determination and computational modeling; 2) ion channels and circadian regulation; 3) novel tools to probe ion channel structure, regulation, and interactions; 4) channelopathies and therapeutic opportunities.

Conference sessions will present the latest research and foster discussion on:
  • Structure-function relationship of ion channels
  • Molecular modeling of ion channels
  • Ion channels and circadian regulation
  • Molecular tools in studying ion channels
  • Dynamics in membrane organization and ion channel trafficking
  • Ion channels in disease
  • Ion channels as therapeutic targets
  • Interrogating membrane dynamics and channel distribution

The conference covers four oral sessions with four selected short talk presentations, a “Meet the Experts” session, and a Career Development discussion with scientists from academia, industry, and government. We are delighted to have keynote lectures by Kurt Beam, PhD (University of Colorado Anschultz Medical Campus) and Jennifer Lippincott-Schwartz, PhD (Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Janelia Research Campus).
