Speaker Resources

This page includes helpful information about registration, reimbursement, and the abstract submission process for invited speakers and session chairs.

Invited Speaker/Session Chair Registration

  • Invited speakers and session chairs must register and pay for the conference unless otherwise notified by FASEB and submit an abstract at least 8 weeks before the conference. Timely registration/abstract submission reserves your place on the program. Please note, FASEB is using a new registration software, so following registration, you will be prompted to submit your abstract.
  • Session chairs who are not presenting do not need to provide an abstract.
  • Your registration confirmation email includes a link to your registration record to update your contact information and access conference materials if needed.
  • Registration fees include all official conference meals as listed in the program agenda, and the meeting fee. Lodging and transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the individual.
  • Conference fees cannot be reduced or waived for only attending part of the conference.
  • If you wish to cancel your conference registration, contact the conference organizer/FASEB right away. Should you cancel, you will not be eligible for reimbursement. A fee of $100 will be charged for cancellations received by the cancellation deadline. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the deadline.
  • FASEB’s conference policies and code of conduct apply to all SRC participants.

Reimbursement Policy

  • Invited speakers and session chairs may be eligible for registration fee reimbursement. If you are eligible for reimbursement, FASEB staff will be in touch with you after the conference with reimbursement information.
  • Expense reimbursements are contingent upon external funding availability and are therefore not guaranteed. If funding is available, the final amount allocated to each speaker and/or session chair will be at the sole discretion of the organizers.
  • To qualify for reimbursement, please:
    1. Check-in at the registration desk on-site for the event
    2. Stay a minimum of 3 full days/3 full nights
    3. Present your talk (speakers) or conduct your sessions as scheduled (session chairs)
