Program
The main themes of this meeting are: 1) The intestinal microbiota and its influence on lipid absorption and whole animal lipid physiology; 2) Intestinal regulation of bile acid metabolism and their impact on physiology; 3) The cell biology and physiology of specific key cell types of the intestine (enterocyte, enteroendocrine, and stem cells).Conference sessions will present the latest research findings and foster engaging discussion on:
- Enterocytes: Cell biology and lipid trafficking
- Enteroendocrine cell biology, signaling, and physiology
- Intestinal stem cell biology
- Intestinal regulation of bile acid metabolism and their impact on physiology
- Intestinal microbiota and its influence on lipid absorption and physiology

- Intestinal lipid metabolism and the gut-brain axis
- Intestine and metabolic disease
The conference covers eight sessions with two selected abstract presentations, and a “Meet the Expert” panel discussing elements of being a successful scientist.
