Michael Lewis-Anderson   Class Description:
    Learn how to make a cake fit for any Royal Party with different techniques of Royal Icing.
  • Learn how to make the Icing and easily gain confidence and Passion for his art.
  • Students will learn to coat a cake in Royal Icing, create and use lace decorations, Pressure piping   of Cupid’s, Doves, and Swans. 
  • Students will divide a cake with templates and learn how to do free hand piping with parchment. Extension work and the techniques of over piping with plain tubes.
  • Students will also create Roses and Garlands of piped Royal Icing as well as make a crown using Michael’s world famous moulds. 
All the techniques shown are the skills Michael uses on his Royal cakes.  A perfect example for this is the Blue Sapphire cake made to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth’s birthday, celebrating 65 years on the thrown as the longest reigning monarch.  Michael creates a cake annually to celebrate this honorable occasion at the British residence in Brussels.     

This class is for beginners up to professional level for anyone wanting to learn skills made for Royalty. 

All students will be gifted with a voucher to receive a packet with one of Michaels moulds along with a sample pack of “A Royal Mix” Pre-Mix, at booth 501  (More Than Cake, Corp)    

All Materials and tools are for classroom use only. Students will leave with completed class projects.
