| Unique Flexique | Technique: Easy Embossing with Flexique Wow! Here’s an easy technique to help you add depth to any printed faces or any image for that matter. This very useful embossing technique was first developed late last year and this is only the second time it is being taught. In this class you will utilize the three F’s - Fondant, FlexFrost and Flexique to create images that spring into life. We provide printed images (a human face, an animal face and a flower)on FlexFrost sheets, Flexique® and fondant/gumpaste which you will use to create your base on a cake board. You’ll then use several tools to enhance the shadows providing an embossed look and adding life into your printed images to make them look like they pop off your cake. This technique can be applied directly to a fondant covered cake. You’ll also discover a simple way to paint textured images on fondant which dry almost immediately and will never run. Finally, you’ll sign your creation by piping your own name (or any saying) with a flexible script which can easily be moved to any position. Take home your creations on cake boards to fuel your imagination.
