| Mitchies Munchies | (Intermediate Level & up) In this class we'll learn how to make a gorgeous gravity defying figurine entirely out of wafer paper. Based on her original design, "Taylor's Wishes", Chef Mitchie will show us how to create and build a basic internal structure, how to color plain wafer paper and enhance pre-colored wafer. We'll get the knack on manipulating the paper to create movement and more height, as well as creating flexible wings. Mitchie will also demo how to create wings from isomalt. Most supplies provided by instructor. Students should bring: an apron, a dry lint free towel (clear of inks/dyes), notebook, pen/pencil, and a smile. ALL TOOLS AND MATERIALS ARE FOR CLASSROOM USE ONLY. STUDENTS WILL LEAVE WITH COMPLETED PROJECTS. ALL CLASS SALES ARE FINAL! |
