Traveling to Warsaw, Poland

Everyone must arrive into Warsaw for the start of the Connection, by 5:15 pm on Thursday, August 16th. Due to flight patterns, if you are not able to arrive in time for the opening on Thursday, Global DMC Partners will work with you on your options. Any exceptions must be approved by Global DMC Partners prior to booking flights.

Host Hotel

The Connection will be held at the Sheraton Warsaw. During the registration process, you will sign up for your accommodation needs. Global DMC Partners is providing complimentary room accommodations starting Thursday, August 16th through Sunday, August 19th. Upon arrival, you will need to provide a credit card for incidentals in the amount of 200 PLN (around $60) per day of your stay.

If you would like to arrange for additional nights, you may do so during registration. Please see the Extensions page for hotel room costs.

Please be sure to communicate any changes in your arrival/departure dates to [email protected] so that we can ensure the accuracy of your room reservations. Payment for additional nights/rooms will be paid upon check-in.

Flight Booking Process

Your travel arrangements will be handled by either your DMC Host or Global DMC Partners and you will be contacted shortly after registering to approve your itinerary. Roundtrip airfare (coach) from your home destination to Warsaw, Poland is provided for all Connection attendees. Should you wish to extend your stay or upgrade your ticket, that is not a problem and we’d ask for you to cover the additional costs of the ticket (if applicable).

If you have any questions regarding your travel, please contact your DMC Host or Global DMC Partners. We ask that all flights be booked by July 14th.

When considering your flight options, please know that the check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am. Your return airport transfer will be scheduled for 2.5 hours prior to your flight departure. It is about a 25 minute drive from the hotel to the airport.

Guest Policy

Connection attendees may bring one (1) guest to the Connection at a special guest rate of $750. The guest must be at least 21 years of age and must stay in the same hotel room as you. The guest fees cover the following:

Hotel room (share with Connection attendee), breakfast is an additional charge*
Transportation to and from the airport (only if arriving at the same time as the attendee)
Afternoon and evening meals and activities

This is a fixed package price and remains the same even if the guest chooses not to participate in all activities/meals. Due to space limitations, the ability to bring a guest will be based on availability at the time you register.

*Please note, an additional fee for breakfast of 92 PLN (around $27) will be charged daily.

Attire

All business sessions will be business casual, and suits are not necessary. The evening events will be business casual, and the final night dinner will be cocktail attire (ie. casual slacks with a jacket for the men, or dresses/skirts for women). Afternoon activities are casual and you may dress accordingly for the activity you have signed up for.

Continuing Education Credit

CE credits will be awarded for attendance at the business sessions. Appropriate documentation will be provided after the event.
