CAST Hotels
The Science Teachers Association of Texas is planning an amazing week of hands-on workshops at CAST 2017, November 9-11, 2017 in Houston, Texas. We invite you to stay in the center of the action at one of our STAT-approved hotels.

All hotel rooms booked through STAT's reservation website are guaranteed to be in walking distance or will have transportation provided to the George R Brown Convention Center. Hotel rooms for CAST may be reserved online here. Through this website you can book, modify or cancel your hotel reservations at any time and receive updated information about CAST 2017. We look forward to hosting you and your colleagues in Houston, Texas! 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Securing Rooms Outside of this Site
The official housing company for the STAT Annual Meeting: CAST 2017 is the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau and the website here. This is the only official entity authorized to arrange hotel reservations for attendees.  If you are contacted by any other company offering to make hotel reservations for you, we urge you not to book with them as they are not affiliated with Science Teachers Association of Texas and therefore are not authorized to make reservations. 

While they may offer special rates, unauthorized companies typically require non-refundable pre-paid reservations, and often move individuals to other hotels without notice. If you book with any of these unauthorized companies or outside of this site, STAT cannot be responsible for issues with your reservation prior to the event or when you arrive in Houston.

Parking
Parking is available at all CAST hotels through the CAST housing site here. Prices vary by hotel.
If you live locally and are traveling to CAST daily, please view the parking options on the George R. Brown website.  Please note that registration on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 will allow you to pick up your name badge and CAST swag on the 3rd floor in Exhibit Hall B3. CAST will have Exhibits in Hall A3, Registration in Hall B3 and then meeting rooms on the third floor above Halls C, D and E. 

Airports
Houston has two major airports, William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) and George Bush Intercontinental (IAH). Both are within 20 miles of the convention center and details on flights for both is located here.  Shuttles are not provided between the airport and the CAST hotels.
