ABOUT THIS SESSION
Session Description: Since its development in 1997 and publication in 1998, WRAP® has inspired people with mental health and other life challenges to embrace their wellness and move forward in their lives. Intentional wellness plans that promote self-direction have shaped the behavioral health field. This simple tool based on the Five Key Concepts of Recovery is a tool that everyone should have the opportunity to use for themselves and for those they support. This workshop will review the tool, guide participants through pieces of their own personal WRAP® and highlight both national and local WRAP® initiatives.
Learning Objectives - Participants will be able to:
1. Describe at least one evidenced-based benefit of using a WRAP
2. Identify at least one of the components of a WRAP
