Purpose/Goal: 

The purpose of this webinar is to share a Donation Service Area’s success in building relationships between the OPO, transplant center, and organ donor hospitals resulting in increased donor activity and transplant opportunity.

 
Target Audience:  

Members of the donation community serving diverse populations to include administrators, coordinators, physicians, nurses, surgeons, managers, quality improvement specialists, social workers, and other donation professionals and their colleagues.

At the end of the webinar, participants should be able to

  • Identify at least one strategy to cultivate relationships between the OPO, transplant center, and/or organ donor hospital.
  • Discuss the importance of relationships and the positive influence on patient outcomes and/or donor activity.
