CONVENTION OBJECTIVE 
The three day SWATA Meeting and Symposium provides athletic trainers and other health care professionals with opportunities for continuing education and a chance to discuss the concerns and issues faced in our profession. The Program Comittee is once again assembling an outstanding program.  During the conference, you will be able to choose from various sessions covering a wide range of topics.  We will be updating the Professional and Student program tabs as elements are finalized.    
CONTINUING EDUCATION 
10 Possible Evidence Based Practice (EBP's) included with registration (Must meet requirements of attendance & post conference eval)
13 Possible Category A CEUs included with registration (concurrent with EBP)

EBPs requiring Additional Registration Fee
During regular SWATA Session
  • Two (2) Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Hands On CEUs on Positional Release Techniques lead by Positional Release Therapy Institute (PRT-i ™) (http://www.prt-i.com) will be available during regular conference hours. EXTRA FEE for 2-hour laboratory session $30 (limited to 50 people per session – two offerings).
  • One-hour lecture included in SWATA programming
  • Additional two-hour lab, which allows for hands on lab with certified instructors allows for total of 3 EBP credits.
  • Most benefit obtained by attending lecture and lab
Post Conference on Saturday
Four (4) Evidence Based Practice (EBP) CEUs on Maximizing Injury Rehabilitation Motivation are offered Post Conference on Saturday 12-4 pm. Sponsored by NATA – Cost $80. 
All CEU's are pending BOC approval.  Applications have been submitted to provide continuing education hours from the Board of Certification (BOC Provider # P206) and the Texas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers.

Online pre–registration is April 1- June 30, 2016
Onsite registration is Thursday July 21 (8:00-5:00) & Friday July 22 (8:00-11:30)

At 11:00pm (CST) June 30th you will pay on-site fees by credit card to register online. You will have to go through the onsite registration process in Arlington to pay on-site fees by check.  If your pre-registration check has not been received by July 1 you will pay onsite registration fees.
