INTERNATIONAL ATTENDEES

IPGSA’s organizing committee has registered the conference with Canada’s Special Events Unit (CIC).  This means that CIC informs Canada’s visa offices abroad about your event so they can plan for the timely processing of visa applications.

Starting March 15, 2016, visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to or transit through Canada will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Exceptions include U.S. citizens and travelers with a valid visa. Read about the changes and how they may affect you. Once you review this you will know whether you need a letter of invitation.

During the registration process, you will have the opportunity to request your letter of invitation.  Please allow up to 5 business days to generate your request and prepare a letter.

The following information must be provided during the registration process to process your request (Passport Number, Country of Issue, Reason for requesting the letter, Organization, and Organization Address).  If there are any issues generating your request, you will be contacted via email.

Please contact [email protected]  if you have questions about the letter of invitation procedure.
