Practitioner Council

We are grateful for the continued service and support of Gathering of Games Practitioner Council. These business professionals volunteer their time and effort to help develop the conference sessions for The Gathering. Their dedication is critical to the success of the conference and ensure high-level, applicable and appropriate content is provided to attendees.   Ron Ameln, President

Ron is owner and president of St. Louis Small Business Inc., publisher of St. Louis Small Business Monthly, a how-to magazine for owners of small- and mid-sized businesses; and the host of the St. Louis Business Expo, Missouri’s largest business-to-business expo. Since 1992 Ameln has written thousands of articles on small-business topics ranging from “How to Choose a Health Care Plan” to “How to Gain Bank Financing.” He has also written profiles on hundreds of growing small businesses in the St. Louis area. These profiles have offered insight into the challenges faced by local small businesses and highlighted the success of area entrepreneurs. Ameln speaks regularly to small business organizations, chambers of commerce and other business groups about succeeding in business and starting a small business. In 2008, he authored the book, “Business Breakthroughs: St. Louis Style,” which shares the business secrets of 60 local entrepreneurs.
 
  Jen Danyliw, Regional Operations Director

Jen started her career in the veterinary field at the age of 15. After attending college, she moved her career from a focus on veterinary medicine into the people end of the business. After spending time in the industry and growing in her speaking/lecturing skills, she joined Associate Veterinary Clinic. Her current role as an operations director allows her to be in veterinary clinics and coach/develop people. She currently runs 13 small animal practices in Ontario.
"My first exposure to the GGOB opened me to a new way of leading my team. The part I was missing in my role was finding the fun in the great industry I work in. My employer has supported my journey! I feel I can help those starting out, offering insight to what worked and how to engage a team!"

 
  Tyler Moles, Director of Development

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks

As a former SRC Electrical employee, Tyler is a three year veteran of The Great Game of Business. He is excited to utilize the GGOB in order to help strengthen his new organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks. Tyler says he was drawn to BBBS by seeing first-hand the impact that a positive adult mentor can have on a child’s life. He is thankful for the support he received from a positive male role model and feels it has shaped him into the person he is today. Tyler is an alumnus of the University of Central Missouri, and has served as board member of both The Springfield Sertoma Club and Hola Sertoma Club, and currently serves as an ambassador for the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

We are an employee-owned company and are the oldest newspaper in the state of Iowa. Our products vary from our daily newspaper to online, digital and magazine publications. I have been with TH Media for 7 years and love being an employee-owner!"

Rinnie received her BS in Construction Engineering from Missouri Western State University and is currently seeking her MBA from Webster University. Her experience with Core Management began during an internship for Logistics making core round-up calls, but soon moved on to an Account Management position with SRC. Rinnie has had the opportunity to take advantage of tuition reimbursement provided by SRC, present at the Sales and Marketing Conference for SRC’s Board of Directors, serve on committees to help the community. Rinnie has had an exciting year as an Owner of SRC and looks forward to many more.

Arend leads the Great Game UK organization, and is the UK’s leading expert on open-book management and The Great Game of Business. A challenging and engaging coach, facilitator, and speaker, Arend has a reputation for designing and implementing performance strategies that generate results and challenge conventional practices. He works with CEOs and executive teams to implement effective business performance acceleration programs. His last three strategic business realignment assignments have seen him designing and leading major change programs in Lisbon, New York and London.
