In 2019, APHSA is elevating critical policy discussions and providing an opportunity for collective conversations with the Administration and Congress for a shared path forward for a modern, responsive and effective human service system.  APHSA’s members are committed to a human services system focused on 1) child and family well-being, (2) employment and economic well-being, and (3) improved population health. This year’s National Summit is designed to showcase transformation efforts underway across the nation that demonstrate policy and practice in alignment these focus areas.

Sessions will be organized around the following themes and categories:  Operational Optimization, Healthier Communities Through Prevention, Policy and Practice Solutions for Family and Community Well-Being, and Equity. Proposals should demonstrate their application to service delivery, policy, and other areas that impact human-serving agencies, programs, and related organizations.  We have listed potential session topics which can be viewed here.
