The 2021 USCHA planning committee has issued the Call for Abstracts to solicit proposals from people working in the field of HIV/AIDS interested in convening a workshop or a poster presentation at USCHA. When preparing submissions, please follow all guidelines outlined in this site and submit required materials on or before June 25, 2021, by 5:00 p.m. PST. The committee will notify everyone accepted as presenters well in advance of the conference dates and send them information concerning all applicable registration and presentation confirmation details.
 

We are looking for the abstract submissions to be intentional of their inclusion of race, ethnicity and impacted populations. Successful abstracts should include, but are not limited to, Alaska Natives, American Indians, Asians, Black/ African Americans, Latinx, Native Hawaiians, and/or Pacific Islanders populations. Inclusion of race and the community’s unique circumstances is important in the work we do to end the epidemic.We are looking for the abstract submissions to be intentional of their inclusion of race, ethnicity and impacted populations.  2021 USCHA Abstract submission application closes on June 25, 2021.


Three-Step Abstract Submission 

STEP 1: Primary Presenter
This is the person who will be the main contact for all information pertaining to this abstract and, if selected, the presentation. In addition to contact information, the Primary Presenter (author) must also provide a resume or CV to upload.


STEP 2 & 3: Co-Presenter/Author (OPTIONAL) 
In this section you may add co- authors and/or co-presenters of the Abstract. It is required to have an email address for each co-presenter listed. Please do not duplicate email addresses; in the event that one email address does not work, we will use the other presenter(s) email addresses to send status updates.
 

STEP 4: Session Information 
This section requires all abstract specific information that will be reviewed by the Abstract Review Committee.
  • Please be sure to spell check and edit your submission.
  • Presentation titles are limited to no more than 10 words.
  • Workshop descriptions are limited to 150 words. If accepted, this description will be used to advertise your session throughout USCHA publications and is subject to editing by NMAC.
  • Poster presentations are required to submit a description.

Once you complete the steps be sure there are no asterisks (*) beside any of the 4 steps. This would indicate that there is information missing and you will not be able to fully submit your abstract. You are able to review and edit your abstract submission until the June 25 deadline. Please ensure that you hit the submit button each time you return to make edits.
