ISM Fellowship Application

The ISM Annual Conference, an affinity group of the American Public Human Services Association (APSHA) will be held in Cincinnati. Ohio at the Duke Energy Convention Center, September 26-29, 2021.  The theme is Reconnect. Recharge. Reset in Red Hot Cincinnati.  Attendees to the conference are committed to building and sourcing solutions which will transform the delivery of programs in the health and human services field - keeping our ultimate vision in mind which is to have and support thriving communities BUILT on human potential.

ISM is now accepting applications for fellowships during the fellowship application window of Wednesday, June 2 through Wednesday, July 14.  ISM will once again offer assistance for state and local government employees in the form of one or more fellowships to attend the Annual ISM Conference. Fellowships will only be awarded for in-person attendance to the conference.

Priority to award fellowships for conference attendance will be given to cabinet-level Chief Executive Officers (CEO), Chief Information Officers (CIO), Chief Technology Officers (CTO) and their respective deputies, and Program Directors closely involved with technology projects of states,  local agencies and or municipalities who pay their annual association dues. These fellowships are meant to help people who want to attend the conference but otherwise would not be able to due to budget restrictions within the agency of employment.  Before applying, check to see if your agency can or will pay expenses, in part or fully; and, if they will, only apply for the assistance required for your attendance. By doing this, we can use our limited funds for those who would not be able to attend without any travel assistance.
