Each year, NCCWSL offers skill-building workshops that challenge and inspire our attendees to create an impact in their campuses and communities long after they leave our conference.

We invite presenters that have created their success through empowering others. This year we are looking for presenters across all industries including STEM, public policy, healthcare, corporate leadership, and academia.

Workshops will be held on Thursday, May 28 and Friday, May 30, 2020 at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Who is your audience?

Attendees are current college women leaders on their campuses and in their communities. While most students are undergraduates, NCCWSL also attracts graduate students, campus professionals and a growing number of nontraditional students who are interested in leadership.

What do they expect to learn?

NCCWSL is designed to help students by focusing on the following learning objectives. Your submission should target at least one of these objectives:
  • Professional Development: Build a professional toolkit for post-graduate life
  • Leadership Development: Develop and strengthen a leadership narrative through voice, skill set and mindset
  • Activism: Know the how, why, and when to take action
  • Women’s Issues: Gain a better understanding of issues and policies affecting women locally, nationally and globally
  • Identity & Diversity: Own one’s personal identity and role in increasing and supporting diverse voices
