Cindy Parry, Ph.D. is principal of CF Parry Associates. She is also a long time member of the NSDTA Advisory Board and Chair of the Evaluation Committee. Dr. Parry is an evaluator for the Children’s Bureau funded Quality Improvement Center for Workforce Development (QIC-WD) and works most closely on interventions aimed at employee selection and job redesign. Dr. Parry has extensive experience in using administrative databases for research and evaluation and is a key part of the QIC-WD evaluation team extracting both HR and child outcome administrative data for study sites. While at American Humane Association (AHA), she was active in the development of case level data reports from the NCANDS and served as AHA’s Director of Research. Dr. Parry also has extensive experience in testing, measurement, and using test data for decision making. She has developed competency-based instruments and protocols for new child welfare workers and supervisors in California and Pennsylvania. For the QIC-WD she is leading the assessment of measures that are included in the cross-site evaluation. In the area of trauma, Dr. Parry has served on the evaluation committee of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network, participating in the development of a database of reviews of measures of traumatic stress, child well-being and family functioning.
