As the Chief Learning Officer of San Bernardino County’s Performance, Education & Resource Centers, Trinka has nearly three decades of experience in Human Services and public sector including project management, budgetary monitoring, organizational development, training and facilitation, leading various complex projects. She works collaboratively with key partners, stakeholders and subject matter experts to design, develop, train, and implement various County programs and academies. Trinka oversees the development of project plans, monitoring milestones and project completion dates. This experience has ignited passion that brings greater awareness and action to connect the needed resources to those in poverty.
She is a member at large of the Advisory Council of the National Staff Development Training Association and President of the San Bernardino County Association of African American Employees. Trinka holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Biola University in Organizational Leadership and a Master’s of Science in Leadership and Management with a concentration in Human Resources from University of LaVerne. She is earning a Doctorate in Public Administration from California Baptist University (CBU).
Trinka serves as an adjunct professor at CBU, teaching undergraduate courses in Human Services and Organizational Leadership. Her passion for personal/professional development, lifelong learning, and leadership, has allowed her the opportunity to present at various National, State and local conferences/events; such as, National Staff Development and Training Association (NSDTA), National Network for Social Work Management (NSWM), California Welfare Director’s Association (CWDA), Child Support Directors Association (CSDA), and County Child Care Conference.
