Lauren Walton is a Learning and Development Supervisor for the New Jersey Child Support Institute at the School of Social Work, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. In this role, she and her staff develop synchronous and asynchonous learning interventions for a statewide workforce. Lauren and her team work with instructors and course designers to create approachable, targeted, and high-quality learning solutions using technology as a vehicle. She is a certified trainer and instructional designer who has led learning initiatives in a variety of Fortune 500, non-profit, and private organizations. The focus of her work is organizational effectiveness, competency development, and performance improvement. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in English Education at Hampton University and is pursuing a Master of Communication and Information Studies at Rutgers University.
