4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Breakout
Reliably becoming an expert in child welfare practice is extremely difficult without a way to practice the skills needed to intervene with families effectively. This session explores innovative training and technologies, such as simulation labs and virtual reality, that can be leveraged to enhance child welfare interventions and evaluation related to workforce, children, families, and other partners. Panelists will discuss and address participant questions around what is currently being done in the development, implementation, and evaluation of these enhanced learning methods. This discussion will also address key challenges, as well as opportunities to build evidence in this rapidly changing environment.
