Dr. Clayton received her B.A. in Psychology and M.Ed. in Gerontology/Adult Education from the University of Central Oklahoma, and a Doctor of Business Administration, specializing in Health Care Administration, from Northcentral University. She joined Oklahoma Health Care Authority in 2014 to develop a Member Audit Unit which is responsible for member eligibility investigations and eligibility related audits. Dr. Clayton came to OHCA after 11 years with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. During her time with OKDHS she served as a Program Manager at the Office of Inspector General, and was responsible for MEQC and PERM eligibility audits. Prior to that she Clayton supervised Long-Term Care, Advantage Waiver, ABD, TEFRA, DDSD, and TANF eligibility programs, as well as serving as an investigator for Adult Protective Services. Prior to OKDHS Dr. Clayton worked as a Research Coordinator completing clinical drug trials, a Health Insurance Coordinator for outpatient surgery, and served eight years in the United States Marine Corps. Dr. Clayton has served in a volunteer capacity for many years to develop community services and connections to meet the needs of Oklahomans.
