Leigh Ann Bryan is the Program Integrity Manager for the Office of Child Care’s National Center on Subsidy Innovation and Accountability (NCSIA). NCSIA provides technical assistance (TA) to state, territory, and tribal Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Lead Agencies in all areas of subsidy administration. While supporting Lead Agencies with goal development, Leigh Ann focuses primarily on the CCDF regulatory requirements in the areas of program integrity and financial accountability. These requirements are aimed at reducing errors, minimizing program waste, fraud, and abuse, and ensuring that funds are used for allowable program purposes and for eligible recipients.
Leigh Ann also has over 10 years of direct service, policy, operations, and administration experience in child care subsidy and other programs serving low income children and families. She started her state government career at a local county assistance office determining initial and ongoing eligibility for Medicaid, Food Stamps, TANF, and child care. From casework, Leigh Ann moved into child care policy and then child care operations in Pennsylvania’s Department of Human Services.
