With an emphasis on families who make under $30,000 a year, who do not have smart phone access, this panel explores the impact that automated text messaging and voice can have at each step of the enrollment funnel in having an impact on compliance with expedited benefits delivery, interview attendance, and documents submission. Further, this panel will feature the impact of private/public partnerships on encouraging and engaging clients to complete enrollment steps such as interview attendance and verification submission. One specific example is in 2017 mRelief measured client time in-office through Lyft ride data. Through progressive iterations with San Francisco Human Services Agency, mRelief was able to decrease time spent in office by 59 percent, demonstrating that private partnerships can be leveraged for human services delivery gains. By May, mRelief will also be able to speak to the impact of immediate meals on documents submission and would love to share more to this audience about engaging partners in the gig economy for human services delivery.
