Dr. Caran Howard, Instructional Development Specialist, University of Northern Iowa
Caran is an Instructional Development Specialist in Continuing Education & Special Programs at the University of Northern Iowa. She has a PhD in Social Foundations of Education, with an emphasis in History of Education, from the University of Iowa. She has 19 years of teaching experience in higher education, including face-to-face, blended, and online courses. She enjoys collaborating with faculty members, puzzling over design/development issues, and working to ensure student success.
