Philosophically Speaking: Connecting QM Design and Student Success in Introduction to Philosophy
Attendees of this session will see how QM design for Introduction to Philosophy at a large community college greatly improved the student experience, specifically with regard to navigation, and how that resulted in improved student success.
Identify improved navigation through QM design in order to improve student success.

Luisa Benton, Faculty, Richland College
Luisa Benton is full-time faculty and coordinator for the Philosophy Department at Richland College. She also serves on Richland's Distance Learning Committee and works with other faculty to improve online learning.
Susan Long, Dean, Technology Enhanced Learning, Richland College
Susan Long is the Dean of Technology Enhanced Learning at Richland College where she oversees Distance Learning. Richland is part of the Dallas County Community College District. Dean Long joined Richland in 2015 after leading a district team that supported distance learning. She has an MEd from Texas A&M Commerce in Instructional Technology Leadership and an MFA from Texas Woman's University.
