If We Pay Them Will They Come? A Faculty Development for Online Teaching: Incentive Program
We started an Incentive Program to promote professional development. Faculty can earn up to 500 points; each equal to one dollar. We will discuss how we developed the program, participation and changes we've seen in online teaching and course design.

Melissa Kaufman, Director of Online Learning, Drexel University, Dornsife School of Public Health
Melissa Kaufman is the Director of Online Learning at the Dornsife School of Public Health, Drexel University. She collaborates with faculty to develop online courses and to convert face-to-face courses to an online or hybrid. She is particularly interested in online course building that increases student engagement as well as building faculty skills. Melissa graduated in 2016 from Drexel University with a Masters in Human Resource Development, Instructional Design and e-Learning Concentration.
Dr. Jim P. Stimpson, Professor of Health Management and Policy and Associate Dean for Academic Affair, Drexel University, Dornsife School of Public Health
Jim P. Stimpson, PhD is a Professor of Health Management and Policy and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Drexel University's Dornsife School of Public Health. Dr Stimpson earned his doctorate in sociology and teaches in the area of health policy and research methods. Dr Stimpson has created and managed several graduate educational programs (MPH, PhD, certificates) over the years. Dr Stimpson has been trained in online pedagogy and created several online programs and courses.
