Becca Albanese, MPH, Center for Social Innovation
Becca Albanese, MPH, is a project coordinator at the Center for Social Innovation (C4) for a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration contract titled Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale Technical Assistance Center Strategy (BRSS TACS). She plans and executes in-person and virtual meetings and coordinates technical assistance activities focused on youth and young adults and collegiate recovery. Becca has coordinated two collegiate recovery learning communities—one focused on recovery supports for underrepresented student groups, and one focused on building a strong collegiate recovery program. She has also researched and co-authored an issue brief titled “Collegiate Recovery Supports for Underrepresented Student Populations."

Prior to joining C4, Becca was a research associate at the Boston University Center for Global Health and Development and the Brookline Quezalguaque Sister City Project. She analyzed quantitative and qualitative data for a mobile continuing medical education project in Vietnam and a project to identify the risk factors associated with child undernutrition in a small Nicaraguan community. Becca received a master’s degree in public health from Boston University, with a focus on epidemiology and global health. She has undergraduate degrees from the University of Connecticut in Spanish and nutritional sciences.
