Anna Gardner, LCPC, LADC, University of Southern Maine, Recovery Oriented Campus Center, Collegiate Recovery Program Coordinator
Miss Gardner is dually licensed in Maine as a Clinical Professional Counselor and an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She is currently a clinician with University of Southern Maine Health and Counseling and the Collegiate
Recovery Program Coordinator.  

Miss Gardner is originally from Maine and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Maine in 2006. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2010 from the University of Southern Maine.
Miss Gardner has worked in integrated care and co-occurring mental health and substance use services. She has experience in behavioral emergency, adult inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient
counseling settings, including medication assisted treatment programs.
Miss Gardner incorporates psycho-dynamic and cognitive behavioral perspectives in her treatment approach as well as other techniques and interventions, matched to meet each individual’s circumstances.  Anna is passionate about the belief that everyone has the inherent capability to make changes and grow as individuals. She fosters a safe and authentic treatment relationship using
empathy, humor, and respect, to support each individuals unique journey in life.
In her spare time she enjoys baking, traveling and spending time outdoors
appreciating the beauty of nature.
