11:15 AM - 12:30 PM: Breakout 2
Up for learning something new? Join us for this interactive session to discover the latest strategy map approach now used by many of the world's leading INGOs (international non-governmental organization) to transform their results.
The strategy map approach, building on the Balanced Scorecard (BSC), offers you a profound insight into your "fundraising business model," explaining both what you want to achieve and how you'll achieve it on a single sheet of paper. Your plan will be easily understandable and explainable to your board, staff and even major donors and, more importantly, produce significant growth income. This model helped one organization raise $1M from a donor in a single 15-minute conversation. You'll have the chance to work on creating a strategy map as part of a group case study. You'll also be able to explore how you can apply a Strategy Map to your own organization.
