Understanding Your Donors: The Quant and Qual of It All

In this session, you'll look at ways to know who your donors are and develop targeted messages to engage them across multiple channels. You'll see how you can use surveys, your data and other research to get quantitative measures of your audiences. You'll also break out into groups and develop donor personas, a valuable tool for understanding the thoughts, feelings and motivations of your supporters as people. You'll then join in a discussion about the best ways to reach these people with messages that will resonate with them and encourage them to act and donate.

By attending this session participants will learn: 1. Understand donor research from both a quantitative/data-driven perspective and qualitative approach with surveys and persona exercises.
