Constituents who engage with your nonprofit organization have a strong affinity to your mission and stick around longer. They respond to your direct mail or digital campaigns with donations. They give online on your website. They attend your fundraising events and raise money for your mission. They volunteer time or serve as advocates championing your cause. These constituents if engaged, activated and cultivated appropriately, will develop a long-standing relationship that sustains your mission.
How can you now proactively strengthen their relationship with your organization? Start with measuring constituent's level of affinity to your mission i.e., an affinity score based on their value to the organization, their level of non-financial engagement, and their retention. Learn how you can calculate, track and action on constituent's affinity score with a goal of driving deeper engagement and higher value.
