Postal Service Developments Affecting Nonprofits
Friday, July 12th, 2019
11:15 AM - 12:30 PM: Breakout 6
There are many changes and challenges in the U.S. Postal Service affecting every mailer. The President's Task Force on the U.S. Postal System, the Postal Regulatory Commission's Ten-Year Rate Review, bills in Congress, postal rule change proposals, and new USPS Governors all have the potential to impact the ability of nonprofits to continue using mail for fundraising, membership, communications and publications. The leading organization that advocates on behalf of nonprofits in all postal mail matters will present the latest trends and changes on the horizon. Executive Director Stephen Kearney, Vice President of the ANM Board Jerry Mathis of ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Board member Tracey Burgoon of Disabled American Veterans will alert and inform nonprofits and their service providers about important issues in the postal world. The Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers has for 40 years represented the interests of all nonprofit mailers.
