We believe in the power of story. Science proves that human beings crave story, and internalize story - yet we don't use story to set our goals, strategies and metrics. If it's the most powerful motivator, we should be using it.
We believe all the goals and strategies in the world are only useful if there's a structure to implement them. This presentation provides nonprofit fundraising and marketing professionals the structure; the templates, the training and the tools, to write actionable plans.
We also believe that a plan is not enough and that people need effective tools and training to execute on the plan. We provide the basic training to utilize proven methods to work the plan.
We believe in simplicity. Overwhelming people with spreadsheets and graphs and too much information and complicated templates makes planning unpleasant. A lack of planning is hurting our sector - so the answer is to make planning and the execution simple.
Learning Outcome #1
By attending this session participants will learn: Participants will learn to make a slight shift in how they set goals. They will be able to create goals, metrics and milestones using the power of story from the donor's point of view.

By attending this session participants will learn: Participants will be taught how to move away from the mind-numbing, eye-glazing planning processes of the past to create plans that are responsive and easy to write and execute. They will leave knowing how to create a layered and interative outline for their integrated fundraising and marketing plans,
Learning Outcome #3
By attending this session participants will learn: Participants will get basic training on the tools they can use to execute on the plan. Project management and time management advice often overwhelm nonprofit professionals into avoidance. This training shows how those tools can be implemented easily and will result in increased efficiency and morale in the fundraising & marketing shop.
