Emotional Intelligence - let's have the unspoken conversation on how employees can make or break your program!
Friday, July 12th, 2019
2:00 PM - 3:15 PM: Breakout 7
Data, creative, acquisition, retention, donor value, ROI - sure all those things are important. However, the health of your program might actually be sitting next to you. With so many things to focus on it is easy to get caught up in the work and not pay attention to the worker. In this session we will have an open conversation around what it takes to hire, train, keep and keep happy those that are set out to change the world. We will talk about power issues, management issues, employee wellness, training, morale and realizing the full potential of your team. This will not be a session where someone tells you what to do - this is meant to be an open conversation so bring your personal experience to discuss. This session will be facilitated by Merrie Beth Nauman, who, before her data days, worked at Disney in human resources and will be able to share that experience and intellect with the group while facilitating conversation among participants.
